If you have already started school, I hope that you have had a great start. If not, we are both on the same boat (haha!). My back to school this year has come later than usual.
In fact, I will not see students until after Labor Day. Me; however, started on Monday, August 18th with two full weeks of professional development. If you follow my blog, you probably already know that I will be teaching at a different dual-language school this year. Honestly, I am happy, excited, anxious and nervous at the same time.
On Monday, we started diving into Adaptive Schools a concept that I have started to become very curious about. In the past, I have had the great opportunity to work at schools that really foster collaboration and team work – a concept some people love, others not so much. As teachers, we are always asking our students to work together and to do so ‘well.’ But what about teachers and administrators? I am new to the name (Adaptive Schools), not so new to team work, but am I am really looking forward to learning about better ways to work with others, to being productive and to enjoying the process. I will for sure be blogging about it as I become more educated, so stay tuned for more info.
